Shipping Containers, Costa Rica

Hello from San Ramon Costa Rica,
My company www.containerhomes.net has been very busy during March. Many phone calls, appointments, and sales of shipping containers. Many of the questions people had this month was about timing. They all wanted their shipping container delivered in less than one week. Our company managed to complete the task and all units were right on time. Except one. The crane that is used to load up the shipping containers broke
Also this month, we unloaded some shipping containers at our factory to begin work on. We used a backhoe to unload the two 20ft units and recorded it. You can see it on this link:containerhomes

We had to drag the unit inside the compound because of the overhanging wires. These steel shipping containers are super strong.
We then quickly converted one of the units into a storage unit, as seen in the before and after photos.

As you can tell from the photos our team did a great job transforming a used shipping container into a storage unit. We took off the two doors and installed the galvanized steel door as seen above. We then sanded off all the rust, primed it and then painted it, then shipped it off to the beach. You can see more at Storage units.

The second 20ft steel shipping container will be built into a small apartment. We are just beginning this process so I will keep the blog posted on any new development. The following
photo is what we are aiming to achieve. This photo is from another company doing shipping container home conversions.

Our company is located is San Ramon, Costa Rica. You can call us at 8-850-7805 to set up an appointment to visit our work site. We will gladly answer your questions and show you around.
